Description
Frayed and dirty, blue ensign with a sewn on crest. Crest is in the form of crossed daggers with yellow and red handles. Flagstaff margin has a wooden toggle at the top and a rope with a looped end at the bottom.
History / Summary
Associated with Sergeant G. Phillips, Field Security (Unit 'K'?) Australian Army Intelligence, who served aboard a twenty-eight foot Bonwood launch operating from Post 6 on the Eilanden River in the Merauke area of Dutch New Guinea. The launch also patrolled up and down the coast.
