Private Mike Rigby of Tuart Hill, WA, unloads one of several cases of medical supplies the Australian Army donated to the Cho-Ray Hospital in Saigon. A total of $100,000 worth of supplies were presented to four centres as a result of the closure of the 1st Australian Field Hospital at Vung Tau. Most of the supplies donated were subjected to expiry dates or changes in temperature and would have been unserviceable if returned to Australia.
