Tirnavos, Greece. 7 April 1945. A ruined church near the bridge at Tirnavos, about twenty five miles south of Mount Olympus and the road through the village which proved to be an important one for the withdrawing of Allied Forces. It was kept open and many troops were withdrawn along it during the fighting of April 1941.
