Manila, Philippine Islands. 4 September 1945. Sister Mavis F. Green (left), a Australian Methodist civilian nurse, and Lieutenant Daisy (Tootie) Cardin Keast, of the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS), both of whom were captured by the Japanese at Rabaul, recounting their prison experiences to interrogating officers of the 3rd Australian Prisoner of War Reception Group on their on their arrival from Yokohama after their release. Both women are wearing civilian clothes.
