Handwritten diary February 1944-March 1945 kept by SX33687 A.J. (Jack) Tye, 7 Division, describing living conditions and recreational activities including films watched while on board ships Howard Sykes, HMAS Kanimbla and Georgetown Victory. It describes living conditions and activities at Morotai, Balikpapan, and unauthorised leave at Makassar and mentions Japanese air raids and giving blood at Morotai. Also includes photographs and photograph album.
