Vic. Paybook photograph of VX37032 Private Albert William Clark, 2/7th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Clark, aged 30, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 27 May 1941. He was the son of George William and Emma Rimmington Clark, of Brighton Beach, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 11.
