Vic. Paybook photograph of VX47184 Bombardier Merion Darwin Taylour, 3rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. Bombardier Taylour, aged 33, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29 May 1941. He was the son of William Henry and Emily Taylour, of Caulfield, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10. (Photograph supplied by the Army's Soldier Career Management Agency.
