Rear Admiral (Rear Adm) Moore (right), of the USN is paying a visit to the RAN guided missile destroyer HMAS Hobart, at Subic Bay, Philippines. HMAS Hobart is on its second deployment to the Vietnam War. Here Rear Adm Moore is speaking with R41784 Petty Officer Engineering Mechanic (POME) David John Raymond, who has a large bandage around his head. POME Raymond was injured when the Hobart was struck by three guided missiles fired by a USAF F-4 fighter aircraft on 17 June 1968.
