Australian National University Survey of War Memorials
Description
Research materials accumulated by Professor Ken Inglis and others for the publication `Sacred Places: War Memorials in the Australian Landscape' (1998). The collection documents individual war memorials throughout Australia, and a small number overseas, with survey forms completed by the project team, photographs, newspaper clippings (both contemporary and current), photocopies of original documents and secondary source material, and related papers. It is arranged by town/city within states, with files of analyses and photographs housed at the end of the collection.
