Tatura, Australia. December 1942. German internees of No. 1 Camp, Tatura Internment Group, work at benches in one of the workshops in the camp. In these workshops internees turn out comforts for their own benefit and some make experiments which they think may be of use after the war. All supplies that they use are salvaged material.
