Description
Diamond shaped colour patch for 20 Infantry Battalion AIF, horizontally divided white over green, with a brass letter 'A' in the centre.
History / Summary
Worn by Lieutenant Kenneth Irwin McMillan of 20 Battalion, AIF. He enlisted on 17 May 1915 and returned to Australia on 29 May 1919. Worn as a distinguishing unit indication at the head of each sleeve from 1915. The brass Anzac 'A' on the patch is not an officially issued one but has been cut down from a shoulder title, and is smaller than regulation issue.
