Although they are not related, the two O'Connor boys on the RAN destroyer, HMAS Hobart (1965-2000), have a job in common, they are Tactical Operators (signalmen). Here R62781 John Martin O'Connor (right), of Reservoir, Vic, and R62782 Lance Keith O'Connor (left), of Broadmeadows, Vic, signal with flags on board HMAS Hobart in the Gulf of Tonkin, off the coast of North Vietnam.
