Description
The RAN guided missile destroyer HMAS Perth (II) is participating in operations with the US Seventh Fleet, off the coast of North Vietnam. During a visit to the ship, Australian Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral (Rear Adm) Sir Alan McNicoll (right), is shown the ship's gun plot by R42331 Electrical Artificer Weapons 1 (EAW1) John Lawrance (not Lawrence) McGrath. Rear Adm McNicoll has the 5 inch gun trigger in his hand.
