Victoria Gully, Gallipoli. 1915-12-19. The side of the hill above the gully with the following features marked on the original print: Artillery Road (far left); dugout formerly used by 2058 Acting Corporal (later Air Commodore) Raymond James Brownell, 9th Battery, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade (3FAB) and 2006 John (Jack) Garnet Knight; the `Office' used as Headquarters by 9th Battery, 3FAB; the site of a field gun used by the 8th Battery, 3FAB; the site of a new observation station on the other side of the hill; the site of `Tasmania Post' manned by the 12th Battalion on the far side of the hill.
