Description
Leading Aircraftman Allen Goodridge of Sydney, NSW, is caught in the slipstream of a Beaufighter aircraft, serial no. A19-173 (erected in the UK), of No. 30 Squadron RAAF prior to taking off on a strafing attack against Japanese troops. This is commonly called jungle bashing because observation of results is practically impossible.
