Vietnam. 1967. Australian Army engineers work on a new bridge near the Task Force base. The original bridge was sabotaged by the Viet Cong. It had been rebuilt previously by French forces, but was repeatedly destroyed by the Viet Cong. The Australian built bridge, strengthened to take the weight of armour, was constructed right over the foundations of the former structures.
