Description
South Vietnam. 1967. The bowl, now hard standing area for 5th Company, Royal Australian Army Service Corps. This area was built up nearly 10 feet to overcome the Company becoming waterlogged in the wet season. Refrigerators, which belong to 25th Supply Platoon, are used to hold meat and other perishables for the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) based at Nui Dat, and the 1st Australian Logistic Support Group (1ALSG) units. In the far background is the South China Sea.
