Los Negros, Admiralty Islands, New Guinea. June 1944. A westerly view of Seeadler Harbour from Lombrum Beach on the western coast of Los Negros with US Navy patrol boats and transport ships at anchor. The northern shoreline of Manus Island projects inwards from the left, and the small islands to the right are located near the north-west tip of Los Negros and Mokerang airfield. In the foreground is 401000 Flying Officer Doug Scott, GD pilot, No. 79 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF.
