Description
Los Negros, Admiralty Islands, New Guinea. March 1944. Three members of a working party of No. 79 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF erecting showers in the Squadron's camp area in Momote Plantation at Southeast Point. Note the PSP (Pierced Steel Plate) designed for building airfields, here being used to floor the shower area. On the right is 128232 Aircraftman 1 G. J. (George) Harris, General Hand.
