An unidentified United States Army Nurse standing with a flowering wattle tree. This image was originally published in 'Soldiering On', page 41 and was captioned "Australian Garland for US Nurse". "The Australian bush has many attractions for members of the United States forces. Wattle, Australia's national bloom, was favourite with this nurse.
