Description
An unidentified cook showing off the raw ingredients for a beef stew, which are laid out on a table outside a tent in camp. He is holding a large portion of fresh beef, and all the vegetables are ready for peeling and chopping. This image was originally published in 'Soldiering On', page 169 and was captioned "How the colour film sees it". "How the troops see it after these ingredients become stew is another story. The picture was taken at a camp in Australia".
