Description

Collection relating to 923 Gunner Arthur William Vining, who served with the 1st Australian Siege Battery, RAA during the First World War. Comprises three original handwritten pocket sized diaries kept by Gnr Vining from 1 March 1918 until 29 January 1919, a 40 page letter dated 21 July 1917 written from Vining to Ethel, an original field post card, Vining's discharge certificate, and three black and white photographs of artillery action.
