Description
Dili, East Timor. 13 November 1999. Unidentified members of A Battery, 8th/12th Medium Regiment sitting around a table in the A Battery Recreation area in the International Force for East Timor (Interfet) compound. In the foreground is Battery Sergeant Major (probably Warrant Officer Class 2) Col Watego. On the tables are bottles of water and packets of "Pringles" and chips. Note the Huggies baby wipes on the shelf to the left, used as hand wipes, and the teatowel with a christmas design hanging on the side of the shelf. Much of the furniture, including the shelf and the chairs look as though it has been salvaged, rather than brought from Darwin.
