The men in the second row are unidentified except for the third from the left who is 2276 Sergeant Robert Whyte from Sandgate, Queensland (Pipe Major). The drummers in the front row from left to right: 2148 Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Rupert Charles Calder from Rockhampton, Queensland (originally from Nelson, New Zealand); 2683 Private (Pte) Dennis Charles Knight from Gayndah, Queensland; 2705 Pte Alexander McRobbie from Bundaberg, Queensland; 3810 Pte James Duffy from Cottesloe Beach, Western Australian; and 1661 Pte Maurice Vincent Joseph Kelly from Charters Towers, Queensland.
