Lichfield, Staffordshire, England. Informal portrait of three Australian aircrew of No. 103 Squadron. Left to right: Sergeant (Sgt) D. Charlwood, of Melbourne, Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Jim A. D. Riddoch, of Nareen, Vic, 400698 Flt Sgt John Henry Dodgshun, of No. 460 Squadron of Camberwell, Vic, (killed on operations over Germany in a flying battle on 9 April 1943). Flt Sgt Riddoch, of No. 502 Squadron, Coastal Command, was visiting Sgt Charlwood at 27th Operational Training Unit, Lichfield. Sgt Charlwood and Sgt Dodgshun were training for Bomber Command.
