Type B brown leather flying helmet : Royal Air Force
Description
Royal Air Force Type B brown leather flying helmet. The helmet is brown on the outside and has a cream coloured chamois liner. It has almost vertically aligned brass zippers in the earpieces. There is small hole in front of the zippers in both earpieces, which accomodates the intercom cord to the earphone when it is fitted. Size 3, 7 1/8-7 3/8 inches.
