Description
Motor and horse transport passing through Vlamertinghe, near Ypres. Motor transport, including six Australian companies, continuously used the cobbled road from Poperinghe to Ypres. The photograph illustrates the observance of the rule laid down for all roads, the slower vehicles moving in a single column close to the kerb and leaving the centre of the road free for fast traffic.
