AERIAL STARBOARD SIDE VIEW OF THE DESTROYER HMAS QUICKMATCH (G92). SHE IS ARMED WITH FOUR 4.7 INCH MARK IX GUNS IN SINGLE CPXVIII MOUNTINGS AND A QUADRUPLE 2 POUNDER AA MOUNTING SITED ABAFT THE FUNNEL. TWIN 20 MM OERLIKON AA GUNS ARE FITTED IN THE BRIDGE WINGS AND FOUR SINGLE 20 MM GUNS MOUNTED AROUND THE SEARCHLIGHT PLATFORM AMIDSHIPS. QUADRUPLE BANKS OF TORPEDO TUBES ARE FITTED FORE AND AFT OF THE SEARCHLIGHT PLATFORM. THE FORWARD BANK OF TUBES IS TRAINED TO STARBOARD AND THE AFTER BANK TO PORT. A TYPE 291 RADAR AERIAL IS AT THE MASTHEAD AND A TYPE 285 FIRE CONTROL RADAR AERIAL IS MOUNTED ABOVE THE HIGH ANGLE DIRECTOR. HER CAMOUFLAGE SCHEME IS THE ADMIRALTY STANDARD TYPE, BUT WITH THE BLUE PANEL ON THE HULL, WHICH NORMALLY EXTENDED TO THE END OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE AFT, CONTINUED TO THE STERN.
