“D” Company, 4th Infantry Battalion, disembarking from a Landing Craft Mechanised (LCM) at the land beach near Sio Mission, Huon Peninsula. Three personnel have been identified on the beach to the right of the LCM are: T102296 Private (Pte) Patrick Neil Triffett (2), N37401 Pte John Charles Havercraft (3) and NX86668 Pte Sylvester Ray McIntyre (4).
