France, 1918-06. Port side view of the German Halberstadt Cl II aircraft 15342/17 crewed by Gefreiter Hausler and Vizfeldwebel Mullenbach, which was forced down and captured on Flesselles aerodrome by an Re8 flown by Lieutenants Roderick Charles Armstrong (pilot) and Frank Jelly Mart (observer) of No. 3 Squadron AFC on 9 June 1918. This aircraft was later painted with British markings and taken to Tasmania. Donor: K. INCE
