Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 1001 Sergeant John Rowland Edwards, AAMC and AA Pay Corps. Collection consists of a plan of trenches on Cheshire Ridge, Gallipoli, held by 27th Battalion from 11 September to 10 November 1915, drawn by Captain George Dey OC B Company; composite aerial photo of British lines 15-30 June 1918, of Divisional area from Lamotte Brebiere to the front line in advance of Villers Bretonneux; detailed memoir of service with the Medical Section of the 27th Battalion Aid Post.
