Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Staff Nurse Lettitia Gladys Moreton, AANS Collection consists of typed extracts from letters written by Moreton, dated between August 1915 and August 1916. Topics include the work involved, hospital conditions, the condition of the men, and the effort to cheer the soldiers such as Christmas celebrations, Anzac Day concert, and Mothers' Day. Also includes a description of the trip from Egypt to India by sea and her subsequent work her there.
