Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of Major General Rupert Major Downes AAMC. Collection comprises of diaries containing notes on meetings, appoinments, and decisions regarding medical matters. Accompanying the diaries are a number of small maps, plans for a hospital, Dutch drug lists and medical supplies (published), Appendicies for an article on medicine in the field and a pharmaceutical labratory in the field.
