Description
Collection relating to the service of Chief Petty Officer Harry Knight. Consists of POW experience following the sinking of the HMAS Perth. CPO Knight and nine others located and sailed a small craft south along the Java coast until captured by Japanese forces. The account also covers his experiences en route to Japan and later work in the coal mines at Ohama.
