Description
Collection relating to Lance Corporal Ernest T Chalk, 15 Battalion. Collection consists of correspondence with his mother related to the first Anzac Day celebrations and memoirs of his POW experiences at Dulmen Camp in 1917, including the support given by the French people to the wounded, difficult camp conditions and the cruelty of doctors to the wounded. Collection also includes a transcript of Chalk's account.
