Description
Collection relating to the Vietnam War service of 17567 Lieutenant Colonel Lenthal Burnum Swifte, Army Public Relations Unit, Royal Australian Army Educational Corps, Headquarters, Australian Force Vietnam, 1968-1969. The collection relates largely to Swifte's operational service in the Army Public Relations Unit, with a minor component relating to Swifte's personal life.
Wallet 1: Consists of memoranda, correspondence, working notes, and drafts of press releases.

Wallet 3, Folder 1: Consists of official correspondence and instructions.
Wallet 3, Folder 2: Consists of published material for press use, biographic information on military personnel, a history of Hue and the surrounding area during the Vietnam War, a booklet titled 'Viet-Nam Documents and Research Notes', published 1968, a list of communist terrorist activities for the week of 16 March 1969, and a note on the Republic of Vietnam's Chieu Hoi [Open Arms] program.
