Description
Copies of letters Corporal Kelly (No. 16307) wrote to his wife almost daily from Vietnam while serving with 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment between June 1965 and March 1966. He describes his feelings of being on patrol, discipline problems, Americans, being wounded by a booby trap, his constant desire to return home and the allergy which ultimately led to his return to Australia.
