Certificate of Commendation
Description
Certificate of Commendation awarded to residents of Borneo and Malaya who, at grave personal risk, rendered valuable assistance to Australian prisoners of war during the Second World War. Collection consists of one certificate dated 1 March 1951 awarded to Surat Min and another sample certificate. The certificates are printed in both English and the native dialect.
