Collection relating to the First World War service of Brigadier General Sir Samuel Augustus Petherbridge, Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force, German New Guinea, 1917.
Collection consists of one formal notification of the seizure of the vessel "Samoa" (of the port of Apia, Samoa), "pending adjudication of a prize court," under the authority of the "Naval Prize Acts 1864-1914," while it was docked at Kalili Bay, New Ireland.
