Biographical note: Private, 6th Bn, AIF. 10 August 1918 killed in action at Pozieres (or Lihons?). Clerk of Moonee Ponds, VIC; born Hotham, VIC; educated at Essendon State School and Scotch College, Melbourne, enlisted AIF 3 October 1916, wounded in September 1917 near the Menin Road and also in June 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux, age at time of death 30.
