Heuston, Noel Arthur (Corporal)
Collection relating to the service of Corporal Arthur Noel Heuston, AAOC, Gallipoli, 1915. Collection consists of one letter of condolence written to the mother of his best friend Lieutenant Harold Crow, 13 Battalion, who was killed at Gallipoli, 3 May 1915.
In his letter Corporal Heuston seeks to comfort the mother of his late friend by eulogising "the original landers" of Anzac. "Every man of them should be decorated with special honors and those who fell in this seemingly impossible task are immortalised in the minds of their comrades for their bravery".
