Description
Collection relating to the service of 2713 Stoker Petty Officer Ernest Newby Morris DSM, HMAS Huon, RAN, 1916-1919. Collection consists of a handwritten diary in which Morris recorded activities aboard HMAS Huon from the time of the commissioning trials off the east coast of Australia, active service in the Far East, service in the Mediterranean with the British Adriatic Fleet, details of enemy submarine activity and news of the death of Commodore Warren, late of HMAS Parramatta.
