Biographical note: Lieutenant Lennard Lewis Wadsley, 52 Battalion, AIF, who on 3 September 1916 was killed in action during an attack on Mouquet Farm (Pozieres). Other biographical details concerning him are: orchardist; of Cygnet, Tasmania; born Moonah, Tasmania, 16 February 1890; educated at Friends High School; age at time of death, 26.
