Biographical note: Captain Ernest Albert Warren, 27 Battalion, killed in action near Flers, France, on 5 November 1916. Age 29. Son of Ernest and Mary Warren, of Mount Gambier, South Australia. Other biographical details concerning him are: bank manager; of Mount Gambier, South Australia; born 2 November 1887 in Mount Gambier; educated at Mount Gambier Grammar School.
