Collection related to the experiences of John Alfred Cue who served as a Chaplain in the AIF during the First World War.
Item 1: Specimen of the first paper brought from England for the Australian Military Church (C. of E.).
Item 2: Specimen of the first paper bought and printed in France for the Australian Military Church (C.of E.).
Item 3: Specimen of the paper finally used for the Australian Military Church (C.of E.).
Item 4: Post card related to the Australian Military Church (C.of E.).
Item 5: Poem about larks written by Cue while in France during the Spring of 1917.
Item 6: A typed account written by Cue entitled "With a Chaplain during a Battle", dated 12 May 1917, which is an account of the 2nd battle of Bullecourt.
Item 7: Hand-written account entitled "The Australian Military Church C. of E." written in response to a request by the Australian War Memorial to provide them with his experiences as a Chaplain in the AIF during the First World War. Believed to have been written in 1922.
Item 8: Typescript of item 6 produced by the Memorial, but signed on the last page by Cue.
