History / Summary
Instituted in 1830 and revised in 1890, the Order of Friedrich had five classes. It was awarded with swords for acts of military merit by officers. The first four classes of the award have short gold rays in the angles of the cross. This medal forms part of a collection assembled by the Memorial in the 1920s for display.
