Collection relating to the First World War of 1561 Private Douglas Haldane, 1st Battalion. Collection consists of two typed transcrips of Haldane's war diaries from 1915 and 1916. The former covers service on Gallipoli with 1st Battalion, AIF. The latter is in very brief form and covers periods in Egypt, England and France with 1 Field Company Engineers.
