Black and white photocopy of a typed manuscript (199 pages) written by NX29594 Signalman Hubert Joseph Head, who served with 8 Corps of Signals before becoming a prisoner of war (POW) of the Japanese in 1942. The manuscript details the personal experiences of POWs in Singapore, Thailand/Burma and Japan. The original manuscript is held in the Manuscripts Collection, MSS1665.
