Description
Indian Army poster issued in 1919 to provide discharged soldiers and their families with information regarding rehabilitation, Educational and Medical services. The poster is largely text printed in blue and red. Centre left printed in sepia is a full length portrait of a Soldier of the Indian Army in uniform standing to attention. The information includes where to apply for pensions, schools that offered free training to ex-servicemen (Queen Mary's Technical School, Bombay ; The School for the Blind, Lahore, and the Victoria Memorial School, Bombay), where to get medical attention, and artificial limbs replaced.
