Studio portrait of 6072 Private (Pte) Leslie Charles Cracknell, B Company, 20th Battalion of Woonona, NSW. Pte Cracknell enlisted in September 1916, sailing for England in the troopship Ascanius prior to joining the 20th Battalion in France. He was killed in action at Mont St Quentin on 31 August 1918.
